Just something quick to honor the only musician I can actually call an inspiration... thats really weird because he's not even my favorite music artist he was just so good at what he did.

Before I get to talking about what I’m gonna start doing with all my blogs and stuff. Theres a person I need to talk about. Michael Jackson. Some people idolize him, some think he’s a disgusting pedophile. It’s funny because I always really liked him, I thought his music was good, and his performances were always inspiring. Even when people made jokes about him I’d kind of shrug it off, I never thought the jokes about him were that funny (although he did say the word ignorant a lot so South Park was right with that lol but people we’re ignorant so idk…. XD) When he died it didn’t hit me. It took a year for me to really like, see that he did so much for music and that I really missed him. It was that feeling that, theres never gonna be anymore hits from the King of Pop. I mean sure theres the unreleased stuff but it won’t be the same. Ever since I really realized that I’ve gotten pretty obsessed.

I don’t think he ever did anything to those kids. Even at first, when I didn’t know much about him it seemed sketchy like… I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t do anything like it was just my gut feeling. Then after the anniversary of his death, I decided to watch videos of interviews again. I finally realized that he had a reason for all of it. He had no childhood. It was taken. Ripped away by his father. So naturally, if that happened to me, when I got to about the time where I can do whatever I want because I have the money and free time, I’d go be a kid again. I want lots of things, hang out with other kids, and play lots of games. And think about it, they talk about those secret play rooms? Kids do that ALL the time. Forts, tents, treehouses? Secret areas to hangout kids just don’t have the money or resources to build a secret room in their house. I believe deep down in my heart that Michael just wanted to be a kid again and it was seen as something disgusting because of how society is today, because other adults made that type of thing seem disgusting. So I say don’t blame him, blame real pedophiles, stalkers, and creepers who have made us think wrongly of seeing an adult with a child not their own. Anyway I don’t want a whole war on here of what you think about the man. You have to agree that he was a great performer, even people who I know dislike his music know his dancing was phenomenal and it was just unfortunate that he had a sad childhood that needed to be replaced. Also, he desperately loved being a father and perhaps he also just wanted to be a father to as many children as he could be? That being said, I do see both sides and understand that some people think badly of him just because of how he would even share his room with a child that isn’t his. So as I said earlier please don’t start a war on here =(

Finally, on to something else. All the blogs I have, have become hard to manage. As you can see its hard to always find something to talk about on her. So I’ve decided to make this a weekly blog. One time a week, probably on Monday since that day always strikes me as the beginning of the week. Then there’s my aimless posts blog which I will be connecting with the tumblr I’ve just made (click here). The posts will be a lot more random, not so many of you know just pictures and crap. The review blog will be started up shortly. I’ve gone through the dilemma of possibly loosing all my Xbox hard drive information. If that is the case, I’ll have to start all over with my games. While that will be EXTREMELY annoying (especially considering I’ve put about 200+ hours into just Mass Effect…) it will be a chance to revisit the difficulty of just starting out on many games. Then I’ll be able to really start the blog. I’m hoping to put a review for Alan Wake tomorrow.

So yeah that’s it. I know this isn’t being posted Monday but I had schtuff to do Monday so yeah. Yay for new blogs. AND OMG WATCH ADVENTURE TIME I SWEAR ITS THE MOST AMAZING SHOW EVER, I AM LEFT LAUGHING UNCONTROLLABLY AFTER EVERY SINGLE EPISODE!

What Else Happened?!

I know I definitely took this while on the way to see a movie but I can't remember which movie... darn...

Well… I mean I started to write quite a bit… really just random stuff but I feel like its helping me develop better words to use instead of just using a bunch of generic idioms that many people use.

I also learned card tricks. Basically, it was a Friday night and I was bored more than you could imagine and I needed to procrastinate sleeping (yes I even procrastinate that) so I learned a bunch of card tricks. Its weird that I got so good at them but it is entertaining to trick people with not only cuts and flourishes but actual magic tricks.

With clothes, I mean really with just a few V-necks and button downs, it was like I changed a lot. Its weird though because in a way, I still dress the same as a year ago. Still cool shoes (except I wear Sperrys and Pumas more rather than Nike SBs), skinny jeans, some kind of shirt that shouts hipster and well I’m not changing to contacts anytime soon so the glasses are staying. However, I did get Ray Bans which you can see below. They’re pretty boss.

I guess my insight was that people aren’t always what they seem. I guess I knew that before, but one of my friends changed so much… without the things I liked changing but still its just like they became someone I didn’t even want to enjoy talking to anymore. The other stuff was more philosophy which… some of it blows my mind away. Like theres one, can’t think of the name right now, but its the unawareness that other people actually think and have thoughts. Which is totally reasonable. How can I know that other people think? I only know that I think. You may say you think, but that can’t exactly be proven. I can’t think of much more that changed… I tried to stop being such a loner and tried to talk to people more and its actually been working. I don’t need to feel dependent on one person’s company anymore which is good.

Tomorrow, I shall discus… something I am unaware of at the moment… perhaps I’ll write up a review for something… who knows?

Book: Cat’s Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut – Only read the beginning but I feel like some of the things in the religion was put into Lost.
Video Game: Just Cause 2 – Imagine like… Red Faction: Guerilla but change the environment and instead of a hammer you have a weird sling shot and a parachute. Thats basically the game.
Song: Odds by Mute Math – Its ironic that this is my absolute favorite band when they’re Christian and I’m not… The song however is really nice and no matter what its about I think a song should just be connectable to anyone regardless of meaning and this song is.

So Like… Please Don’t Hate Me?

This is actually a bit old... I've been keeping my hairss curly as of about... a month ago. So much easier.

I know I keep leaving you, bloggy, I am so sorry for the leave. We just needed a real break. Last time there was just so much happening. You see, I want an iPad. I want to be a huge jerk. So the only way I was going to get that was to improve my grades. The only way I could do THAT was to stop doing things that made me procrastinate. This was about number two, right after playing guitar. So I did get my grades up, all As but unfortunately one B in English but my teacher is really just a huge jerk. Also I have a C in my photography class… but thats just because my teacher is stupid. The other reason I had to stop the blog for a bit was because I CANNOT post without a picture on here unless its like a one sentence post. I didn’t have any space on my computer so no picture to download. Luckily my laptop has been fixed so I can use that for music and use this just for pictures. Another thing was that I was still kind of having problems with my friend, I mean we’re good now but we probably won’t talk as much anymore. But meh her fault not mine.

WHATS NEW?! I fell in love with Chuck Palahniuk (still have to actually work hard to pronounce his name), learned card tricks, started writing a lot, gained new insight, made new friends, started to dress better, and geez so much more. I haven’t read any full book by Chuck yet but the samples I downloaded on my mom’s Kindle? HOLY CRAP. Amazing. The thing that annoys me is that if I were to write something the way he does and give it to my English teacher I’d get a D at best. Why? School doesn’t make much sense. They spend years teaching us things that don’t and won’t help us actually succeed. Stephanie Meyer doesn’t really know the basics of writing, at least not the way teachers have taught me, yet shes probably ROLLING in dough because people care more about plot and ability to be submerged into the story. Fancy word choice and superfluous detail isn’t always perfect. Yes I have a shoe on, no it does not matter what type of shoe or what condition, I have one on that is all. Really you don’t even need to know that.

Anywhozle (why?) I think I’ll ACTUALLY be able to start up the game/movie review website I will be starting soon along with finishing the music playlists on here. Also I shall be making attempts to add my own music on here because I have one or two songs made on Garage Band that I believe are worthy. I shall talk more of what has changed tomorrow. But right now? I’m going to chill. I’ve had finals all week and need a full week of just sleep.

Long Time, No See

They're the biggest headphones ever. Not as amazing as Beats but Beats are ridiculously overpriced.

So… I’m not gonna really go into detail about why I “took leave” on my blog because thats too personal… I hate when people put they’re entire life on their facebook or website. Like if I wanted to know I’d tell you to write a book, and then I’d buy it. But anyway I’m back! Yayyy!

So, I never got to see The Runaways and I was kind of disappointed. But I guess I’ll see it when it comes out on DVD…? In other news, Algebra 2 is probably the most ridiculous class I’ve ever had. I mean really when will I ever use a cosine? Like I’m not trying to sound like the typical whiny teenager, at least I can do the math, I just don’t understand why I have to. Ahh school… good old school.

What else, what else… oh yeah so I can play pretty much all of Stairway To Heaven… no big deal. I mean… OMG I CAN TOTES PLAY LIEK AWL OF STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN!!!! Its actually very amazing. Easier then I originally though. I mean I though I was gonna have a lot to talk about, but the truth is, is that I just don’t. I started a little like Daily Booth type of thing on another blog click HERE!!!! We’ll see how long it lasts, I’ve been posting everyday though. And aghh! today DeFranco returns but no on The Philip DeFranco show… something else! I’m both sad and excited… I mean PDS was one of the only reasons I made a new youtube account, I was even going to start a show of my own but I got too lazy… (big surprise right?). Besides Vash12349, I don’t watch really that much youtube, just random old songs that I don’t have on my iPhone.

So there that was my big come back. Wasn’t very big… I feel like I’m missing out on something… blah oh well lol. By the way, I would like to do reviews on here for games, possibly movies, and books but like… I hate that they’d all have to be smushed into the home page. I NEED MULTIPLE PAGES THAT I CAN POST TO!!

Getting Back To Normal

Usually I dislike shopping at American Eagle but this hoodie is actually kind of amazing.

So as anyone who reads my blog might notice, things were getting really slow really fast. I hadn’t updated pictures in a really long time, I barely posted new blogs, and I couldn’t keep up with the music part of my site either. But I totally kicked the laziness out of me and viola! New layout, updated pictures 2nd blog this week, and I added a bunch of content to the music. This week and next will be really busy from school, but after that I barely have any school at all. I’ll be able to actually make the This Town Needs Guns playlist and start at least one or two of the genre playlists. Hopefully I’ll also be able to get back up to reading and playing guitar everyday as well.

I do have some excuses though. My teachers decided to make two term papers due the same week and a project and usually when I get this much work I kind of overload and stop doing anything at all. Plus I’ve been kinda bummed out that I can’t take acting next year. Like okay I know my school wants all the students to try different subjects or whatever but if they want that so bad then make things like math and science optional, or let students stay after school for classes. My next blog will probably be about the iPad and hopefully I will also have more time to draw soon so I will upload some of that. Then once I see The Runaways I can review that. I’m thinking about canceling my tumblr account since I blog so much on here I might as well just do my reviews on here as well.

It Really Is Hard To Keep Up With This Sometimes…

I like doing shots like this (did one but with rain instead of ice and the background is more green... and dark) I should do one for each season!

Lol so I feel like I’m just never gonna be able to keep up with this blog. Whats happened since my last post… well a lot. For one, Mass Effect 2 was absolutely AMAZING. However, there is also bad news. After starting a second play though, my xbox broke. So I had to send it to be fixed and stupid me left my hard drive and ME2 disc with my xbox and so that took another week to get sent back. NOW my hard drive is messed up and needs to be sent back to get fixed, lucky me right? Plus my hard drive in my laptop is broke now too so I’ve basically been watching a lot of ME2 and The Runaways videos, playing guitar, and reading to pass time.

Speaking of reading, I don’t know how but I got mega into modernist literature. I mean in school we started with some short stories and then got into The Great Gastby and its all really awesome like, you don’t really expect the endings, the books make you think a lot, at least in my opinion. I really like Hemingway and Fitzgerald right now. I was actually a bit excited to read The Great Gatsby after I found out that F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote the original short story to The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Even when I was reading Gatsby I imagined the narrator to sound like Brad Pitt as Benjamin Button.

What else happened… hmm. Oh yeah. Heavy Rain, Bioshock 2, and God of War 3 were all amazing; I saw my brother beat them all. I actually beat Heavy Rain as well, although the voice acting was absolutely horrible the story was incredible and brought a good twist although some things were unexplained. Bioshock 2… well it was good if you really like the Bioshock story. Its not as epic as the first one because you already know, for the most part, what to expect down in Rapture but it is still nice. Anyone besides me looking for a prequel to it? Finally GoW3… I’m in the midst of beating it now and its really fun. I saw the ending and that part was actually really cool and it ended how an actual Greek myth would. SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER: Kratos killing himself, giving the people hope, and ridding the world of the Greek Gods is a perfect Greek Myth. He died, it explained the existence of hope in our world, and explained why no one believes in the Greek Gods anymore because Kratos killed them. Good writing but it was sad to see the end, it was a really good trilogy and hopefully they will continue the story line another way.

Thats pretty much it, I’ve taken a lot of pictures that I plan to upload soon. Also I think my next playlist might be for either This Town Needs Guns or Linkin Park… or maybe even Saosin. Oh and I got awesome Wayfarers! Just plain black though. And I’ve been starting to draw again, might upload some of the stuff I’ve done so far soon.

Book: The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber by Ernest Hemingway – If you want to get into modernism this short story is great, has all the elements, makes you think, etc.
Video Game: Pretty much, any game I talked about in this post, they’re all worth buying, or at least renting from GameFly.
Song: Zebra by This Town Needs Guns – Very nice song, different from their usual music, really good lyrics too.

All of you NEED to watch this right the heck now.

Its so delicious. I’m pee-ing my pants and crying very hard. But its really annoying that all these people are liking Mass Effect NOW just because the second one looks so amazing. I can honestly say I’m one of the original and hardcore fans. Love this game to death. And I always will. No matter what.

Btw I think I’ll start doing short posts like these along with long posts. Bigger post next week, along with a Mass Effect 2 review on my other site.

Also, I don’t have much time to post reviews or anything for most of the stuff I have been but, I will say…
Song: About Her by Malcolm Mclaren – Overall really cool, trippy sounding kind of song. If you don’t know it, you’ll probably remember hearing it before if you’ve seen the Kill Bill movies.

Hunting Hats FTW.

Who DOESN'T have a security blanket like Holden? Or at least... who doesn't have an awesome hunting hat like Holden? I know I do =)

So since I finished The Runaways playlist I think I’ll be working on a Mute Math one next (click here). They’re probably my second favorite band at the moment so… yeah… I don’t have much to talk about right now… I mean I guess I could talk about how I’ve been feeling repeatedly disappointed by people lately, it kinda feels hard to trust anyone anymore. But I mean I’m not going into detail because that would be weird to talk about my entire life where anyone could see it… especially old perverty dudes.

Uhm yeah so in about nine days I won’t be on here for probably over a month because of…. MASS EFFECT 2! Yes.! For Christmas my brother pre-ordered the collectors edition for me so I’ll be on my xbox for a LONG time. Hopefully that won’t jeopardize my midterm grades… Anyway I’m kinda half and half about it. I really wanted at least Ashley, Garrus, and Liara to return but the only crew member you get again this time is Tali. But apparently she’s a romance option so I think they’ll finally show her face! woot! Yeah… I’m getting the infernus armor with it too because I though the terminus armor actually looked kinda bulky and ugly… But yeah I’m super happy about it and I can’t wait so I’m gonna get a lot of blogging in before then and this a pretty sad excuse for a post but I really have nothing else to say besides the fact that I’m making a t-shirt design for the runaways and once I’m totally finished I will be posting it someone here =)!

iPhone app:Tyrotuner – So if you play a guitar this is a must. Its just a tuner but it works really well for someone like me who doesn’t own a very good tuner and its really easy to use… and did I mention its free?
Book: Catcher In The Rye by J.D. Salinger – Okay so most people have already read this book but if you haven’t you should. I hated Holden at first but eventually found him to be a VERY relatable person and the idea of preservation was really interesting.
Video Game: Folklore – PS3 game. Very fantasy like… almost like Final Fantasy meets Pokemon meets… Kingdom Hearts, in my opinion at least. I don’t really think it got the credit it deserved because I thought it was a really good game. Plus the music was simply amazing. If you have gamefly I suggest getting this game even if only for a while.
Song: Babe I’m Gonna Leave You by Led Zeppelin – Honestly. I feel stupid for having not listened to Led Zeppelin more before, but I do now. And this song is amazing. Seriously.

Gosh Darn You Movies

So I said I was gonna post the next day... but guess what? THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN! Instead I tried to watch Donnie Darko (presumably, for the fiftieth time), that didn't work out, I stopped watching about halfway through, and honestly, I can't remember what happened afterwards.

You might have heard about that new K-Stew and… D-Fann… (my attempts to be cool fail) movie, The Runaways. If you haven’t well than shame on you. That either means that you’re not a Twighard (extremely obsessed Twilight fan) or you have horrible taste in music. The Runaways were one of the first all girl bands starting with Joan Jett and Sandy West (who unfortunately died in 2006, RIP). Later the band found Cherie Curry (pronounced shahREE curry despite popular belief that its pronounced sherry), Lita Ford, and Jackie Fox (later replaced with Vicki Blue among others). Now that you know that you should go look them up at this point because I am worried. I honestly have come to love this band very much and I REALLY hope D-Fann (hah…hehehe… no? okay…) doesn’t mess this up. Shes a pretty good actress but I think I’ll always see her as the little girl from War of The Worlds. Plus in some parts of the trailer for the movie, it seems like the make-up artists put way too much stuff on her face. Sadly, even if it is really bad I’ll probably still go see it about a hundred times. In any case, go stalk the band, they’re pretty darn good. I’ll be posting a playlist for them in the music section before the day ends. And by then this (ps: CLICK THIS) link will be enabled to go straight to the playlist.

Spiderman. Yes, I really am talking about Spiderman after talking about The Runaways (hey they had a comic book… so its not that random… really….). Apparently the movie is getting a reboot. A.K.A. new cast, new story, new director, etc. This could be a good thing but I really liked Tobey Maguire as Spiderman, and it’ll be hard to see someone else play him. People have already been saying that Jesse Eisenberg or Michael Welch are in the running. If I had to choose I’d go with Jesse Eisenberg. He’s got that nerd thing, yet he doesn’t look like he can’t punch someone in the face. In any case lets hope for the best with BOTH these up coming movies.

iPhone app:iPipBoy – Yes, this is a Fallout 3 app. If you play the game, I HIGHLY recommend it. Instant hacks into any computer which is great if it unlocks a safe.
Book: Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson. A book to wait to read until you’re about 15 so you can actually understand Melinda and feel her pain and not just cast her away as an annoying complainer. Also watch the movie after so you have you’re own idea of how the characters should look and see how bad the movie fails at that. (At least with Mr. Freeman, total dissapointment)
Video Game: Assassin’s Creed 2 – So I didn’t play the first Assassin’s Creed however playing this one really made me regret not doing so. Some people complained about the faces and controls but the controls were actually fine for me and the faces… okay yeah they were weird looking. Anyway, great story cool game. Go buy.
Song: Sunrise On Lake Pontchartrain – Alexandre Desplat (I’d watch Benjamin Button first and listen for the song you find most beautiful that actually comes up quite often, it will be this song)
